Or if you have a collection of small societies with the six people youre leading and your restaurant group its cookie cutter where yeah, we all do this. And I was thinking, this is incredible. And one of the things Ive seen recently is that we, in fact we did a study on this and found that 47% of corporate America does not know their organizations core values, which, if you think about it, on one hand is extremely surprising. Thats too far beneath us.. Anson: Well, they are good. We took into our environment. Almost every single time he would tell everyone in the room to fire the bottom 10% of their workforce. Because what it tells me is it tells me about potential. Every coach wants their kid to play at the University of North Carolina. They include responsiveness, reliability, and a non-partisan and non-advocacy approach to our work. And of course on the recruiting visit theyre on their best behavior. Is that true? What you have to recruit and who you have to hire is character. But she said basically between your criticism, I could feel your love. I thought you wanted to sign a pro contract. And basically you have a strong man running everything. So in your case, you know, someone with an incredible high IQ or some Harvard graduate that finished, you know, summa cum laude. Because I have tried to completely change someone and I havent. He assembles all of us in a room, all of the Ph.D. candidates and masters candidates and says, Okay, I want all of you people to memorize reams of Russian poetry and Russian literature. And now these students are looking at each other and they cant believe it. This is one of the greatest business books Ive ever read.
